When a 26 yr-old American girl discovers she's the reincarnation of Chairman Mao, she rebrands Communism to atone for her past life's crimes. A short film written and shot by Renée Rossi Donlon.

This scene from my final project screenplay was selected for production for the 2018 Grad Show. After receiving actor workshops over the summer, the scene was directed by course tutor Tess Sheridan and shot in the UAL Television Studio.

Renée’s pitch was 1 of 8 out of 40+ selected by industry guests and tutors to be produced by the University of the Arts London. This film was a collaboration with UAL’s BA Film and Television course.
